Who You Are
We’re looking for a passionate, curious, and hardworking individual to join our team as an Industrial Design Intern. You’re someone who thrives in a small team but can also work independently when needed. You’re adaptable, creative, and understand the dynamic nature of a fast-paced industry. Most importantly, you’re eager to take on new challenges as they come.
What we are looking for
We are looking for inspiring portfolios that show a progressive approach to industrial design, and believe you possess many of these qualities:
- Open to all levels, though we prefer at least 1 - 2 years of relevant academic experience.
- A well-curated design portfolio showcasing excellent craft, rigorous process, conceptual clarity and refined aesthetic culture
- Ability to work with fast-paced projects
- Thoughtfulness and clearly articulated creative point of view
- Hands-on design approach with a strong execution focus
- Well-rounded, fluid software toolbox (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Keyshot, CAD software, etc.), paired with an innate ability to produce top-notch results
- Understanding of materiality & design for manufacturing
- Highly dependable, self-directed personality and receptive to feedback + creative direction
- Care, optimism, attention to detail; positive impact mindset
What You Will Get To Do
- Product renderings for all formats
- Projects/products focused on 3D
- Packaging design for products across all formats & categories
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute designs for website and social media platforms (Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.)
- Contribute to brand-building initiatives, product launches, and content
- Create compelling and visually appealing social media content that resonates with our audience
- Support ongoing campaigns and provide creative input to enhance palett3’s social media presence
- Assist in shaping palett3’s online voice and community engagement
What You Bring To The Team
- Knowledge of industrial design and product design rendering.
- KeyShot is a must
- Photoshop is a must
- Rhino 3D is preferred.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow
- Availability for the internship period, with potential for a longer-term role
